
Difference Between TFFN and THHN / THWN-2 Electrical Wire
TFFN has lower heat resistance compared to THHN it is not ideal for wet locations. Both THHN and TFFN wires are used as general purpose wiring, for appliances, machine tools and control circuit wiring. Although only TFFN 18 1 can be used as a dog fence wire. THHN is not ideal to be directly buried underground. TFFN is used on 16 and 18 AWG size .
